Charleston Outreach is a non-profit committed to sharing opportunities for restoring communities through-out the greater Charleston area and beyond.  For over 15 years, CO has been in the community restoring business - from free medical and dental clinics, to home weatherization and restoration, work with children and youth, as well as a new Human Needs Crisis Network.  CO is determined to mobilize the vast resources of churches across the Tri-County area to live out their life-restoring call.  This means that, individually and corporately, Jesus followers are looking at the world around them with a heart that leads to a response to people in their world something like this:
 a. 'I (We) desire God's best for you.'
 b. 'God, what role would you have me (us) play in that best becoming a reality?'

We are also committed to helping the church as we utilize teams who come to serve with us from around USAmerica.  While connecting these teams with the life-restoring work of the church here in Charleston, our hope is to help move these visiting teams into the same vision for their own towns and cities.  As a part of this year-round missions effort, Charleston Outreach has pre-packaged adventures for teams in the Spring, and Summer as well as spot projects from August through February.  Teams may participate in a wide variety of ongoing ministries, including construction, multihousing, and prayer-walking.  For those with language capabilities, some of these ministries can have Hispanic focus as well.
